Dec 01, 2013 M codes, I will calculate for free, when I see the request. Can take a while; ? The link to FORD RADIO CODE Calculator, is at top left corner of my blogspot. Car radio to replace OEM 6000CD radio in Ford models. Connect USB flash drives up to 32 GB, listen to MP3 music.
All of the above is applicable to me. No then, find it strange that my phone can pick up a hands free though.Try it in a different location, far away from any cars/ houses/ people/ phones/ headxets/ devices inc. Computers etc and see if you are still picking it up (you may have been picking up someone else's device )Try switching the head unit off/ disconnecting the power and see if you are still picking it upif you got someone to stand with your phone while you drive away in the car and its still picking up the signal (100m range) then it won't be your car/ head unit it is picking up.
Wed 20 Feb 2019 18:29Ford Focus - Ford radio code - GalaxySorry but that's not the Serial Number. The correct Serial Number will be in the form of M123456 or V123456 where 123456 is any six digit number. If you can't get the correct Serial Number by pushing various buttons then you will need to pull the radio out form the dashboard a couple of inches and read the SN off the label on the back of the radio. You need simple tools to release the radio, by the way. You'll find further information regarding obtaining the correct Serial Number and, as it happens, is also where I'm currently getting my Keycodes from, here. Sat 16 Mar 2019 13:51Ford Focus - Ford radio code for 6000CD - GalaxyAs my fellow Forum Member FP correctly states, Ford Radio serial numbers are normally predeeded by an 'M' or a 'V', not vpx.Making the assumption that your serial number is V186675 then the correct Keycode for your radio should be: 7994However, if this isn't the correct serial number then you need to recheck in and come back to us.No, the battery warning light shouldn't be on at all, even if the battery is totally discharged. If the light is on then it's an indication there's probably a problem with the charging circuit, possibly the alternator. Tue 29 Jan 2019 19:26Ford Focus - Ford radio code for 6000CD - GalaxyThanks for coming back to us and letting us know the Keycode worked.I have no knowledge of there being an algorithm available but there are a few 'Keycode Solvers' around.
Currently I myself am using this one:This one has the advantage that it's capable of doing both 'M' and 'V' serial numbers; most of the others only do 'M's.Whatever the algorithm that is used it will have to be based upon the list of all Ford Radio Serial Numbers and their corresponding Keycodes. As far as I am aware this list is only available on Ford Etis, which is an online data and information service for Ford Main Dealers. I don't know of any numerical relationship between Serial Numbers and Keycodes, it's probably just a look-up table, but I can't be 100% sure.Should anyone else have any information about this subject I'd be very interested to hear it.
Tue 19 Feb 2019 09:35Ford Focus - Ford radio code for 6000CD - GalaxyHello Alexey,Thank you for supplying the link for your Android App. Looks like it will be very useful.Thank you also for your explanation as to why e-mail addresses are now required; I did wonder.I currently find to be the most useful program for supplying Ford Radio Codes to Forum members. Thanks for providing it!I did ask a question on here a couple of weeks ago which unfortunately wasn't answered.
Perhaps you might possibly be able to help me.Is there some sort of mathematical relationship between Ford Radio Serial Numbers and Keycodes or does your program use some sort of look-up table? I'd just be interested to know, please.Thank you once again!Edited by Galaxy on at 09:36. Tue 19 Feb 2019 18:48Ford Focus - Ford radio code for 6000CD - john heaps@ Alexey,Thanks for the information regarding the email request, have noticed its optional:)5 stars and review given on trustpilotEdit: I really like the idea of a copy of the code being sent to my email address, noted you are not using on the app, would be nice to see a email option with the reason for the request, (receive a copy of your code to your email address), just my personal preference.@admin should be a sticky for the radiocodeford.com saves time.Edited by john heaps on at 19:03. Fri 17 May 2019 09:36Ford Galaxy - Ford radio code for 6000CD - GalaxyThe correct code for your radio should be: 4884I'm afraid I'm not convinced this code will solve your 'NOT CONFIGURE' problem but you've requested the code and I've provided it for you.I would also try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and then reconnecting. If it's possible for your to pull the radio out then I would remove all the plugs on the back, one by one, and then reinsert them. You will, of course, need to re-enter the code after doing this.Other than that then I believe your radio is likely to be faulty.
Best and cheapest solution will probably be to purchase a placement identical radio on Ebay.Edited by Galaxy on at 09:41. Fri 12 Jul 2019 15:08Ford Focus - Ford radio code for 6000CD - JK30I've created a site to generate the codes free and instantly after getting a gritty response from a company selling the codes for £7 each. So this is a big middle finger to them. I don't make a penny from this at all.The codes and algorithms are available online if you know where to look so I put together a site to generate the codes. As of 12-07-19, it does most of the V serial numbers, the rest will be added tonight. I'll finish off the M code generator tonight also.Edited by JK30 on at 15:09.
Mon 22 Jul 2019 08:37Ford Focus - Ford radio code for 6000CD - Thatman84The S/N V119126 should have the code0853.P.S. For whatever reasons, a lot of people post here to get the codes even where there are resources elsewhere on the internet. Maybe they don't trust links to other sites. However, there are a few of us here who have our own code generators.Worked a treat. This thread is one of the top searches in google and with the quick replies and links not always working it seemed solid. I tried the £6.99 place (but stopped at paying) and the non working link above. Def worth asking here 1st.
Mon 22 Jul 2019 14:32Ford Focus - Ford radio code for 6000CD - MKRodgeThe S/N V218219 should have the code 1277. That is correct according to my usually accurate source. Please check the S/N - if necessary pull the radio forward a little out of the dash to see the label attached to its chassis. What have you done so far to get the S/N?Hi FP, I held 1 and 6 and after it cycled through all the stuff it gave me V218219 on the digital display. I’m guessing someone has had it overridden at some point and I’m just unlucky! It’s annoying because the time is wrong and I can’t even listen to radio 2. Thanks for relying!
Mon 22 Jul 2019 22:18Ford Focus - Ford radio code for 6000CD - GalaxyThe correct code for V218219 is most definitely 1277 - I've checked it myself, not that for one minute I had any thought that the code FP has already given you would be anything other than 100% correct. From your description of what is happening I would say that the serial number is wrong. As FP has already suggested I would recommend you pull the radio out from the dashboard to actually read the serial number from the white label on the outer casing of the radio. Is there any possibility that you might have misread the serial number shown on the display as it was scrolling across? I’d post the photo if I New how.
I’ll try pull it out and check the printed code. I’m guessing someone’s had it recoded at some point it’s 10years old with 120k miles on it with 4 previous owners. Tue 23 Jul 2019 11:39Ford Focus - Ford radio code for 6000CD - FPSorry you're having these problems. If you're getting the serial number from the display as you describe, I imagine it will be the same as the label on the chassis.I don't understand how one can re-code a radio, but if this has indeed been done, the only way forward with it would be to re-code it again, as you have no way of finding the code.In practical terms, you may as well get a new/second-hand radio.P.S.
A very long shot - have you checked all the handbooks, paperwork etc. That came with the car to see if anyone has scribbled a code down? Or do you have on your V5C a record of a previous owner whom you could contact? (I once used this info to track down the security wheel nut key for a second hand car I bought, even though it came from a dealer.)Edited by FP on at 11:44.
